Thanks Kat. The new template is from the Wordpress site -- called "Sunset". You can find it at:
http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/search.php?q=sunset

I wanted to find a theme with "fluid width" -- for I have a wide monitor and want more text to fit on the screen.

However, I'm finding my site very slow to load now -- I'll try removing some widgets to see if it helps.

About SexualRiver.com being a squirting site :-)... I never thought of that. I don't have any squirting videos though -- any idea how to get some? But I will be putting on a lot of ejaculation videos though (my own), so the thought of that being like a River came to me too :-). I love the term/metaphor "River", think it's very powerful, both from a spiritual side as well as visual.

Not sure if it was intentional but I am curious about if sexualriver.com or sensualriver.com will be thought of as a "squirting site" just from the domain title. Hahah...funny, no?

Kat

PS: Love your new template. Is it a template or a self made template?

That's for the pointer. I'll check out http://rssfeedreader.com/

While the manual process is time consuming, I have a workflow now that makes it not too bad -- and enjoyable too, discovering what my alerts are finding for me.

I solved the problem of including a file on my post -- so now just need to edit a few text files and my News & Links page updates.

On my nudist page I have a news section. To be honest, I don't see much alternative but to edit it manually, because it's my news presentation and I don't want my readers confronting the problems you describe here. I've found all the same kinds of problem with automated content.

I whittle down about 50 news feeds and hand-pick the stories, if there are any at all that I want to include. Always there is a high proportion of rubbish coming in about pre-teen lesbians or Obama being a nudist. Picking the good stuff is pretty labour-intensive, I have to admit.

Any keyword you use has ramifications, and of course 'nudist' and the like may take you straight into exploitative and stupid porn territory. I don't include your home site in that category by the way!

I take the point that you're willing to experiment, and yu might like to try http://rssfeedreader.com/ - I've had a tentative go with this, and it doesn't seem to produce too much rubbish. You pick your subject and then put a piece of code on your site, sit back and wait for the news to arrive. But as usual you will want to monitor what arrives.

I'm glad you don't want to fill your pages with garbage, and wish you the best of luck. Maybe I'll add your feed to my news-gathering efforts.

Ugh....our basement floods all the time. In our case it is an above ground basement. The reason it floods is from substandard foundation.

Using Wordpress (which I use here), it supports futuredating the entries. I've never tried it myself, but a quick google search shows people explaining how to do it.

See:
http://lorelle.wordpress.com/2006/10/01/working-ahead-future-posts-with-wordpress/

Also, after an entry has been posted, the date can be changed in a similar way -- though a bit tedious...

I prefer to use MarsEdit though -- an offline blogging tool on my Mac... But then... because I might write several entries and post them days later, the dates get all messed up -- all entries get the same date and seconds apart. I haven't figured out how to get MarsEdit to use the entry's creation date instead of the posting date when it updates my blog.

I actually was curious how one might backdate or futuredate entries instead of it being stamped on the day you actually wrote it. I dont know if that would help me get some blog entries out or what.

Hi Kat :-)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :-)

Hope 2009 will be good for us...

2008 just seemed such a mess, especially near the end.

Looking forward to 2009 and coming home and coming back to what truly is important -- and back to me... and letting my natural self, my inner self, my soul, shine...

Yeah. Twitter is a strange thing. Im finding that the way I have networked using microblogs is kind of the same way that I did when it came to my real blogs (livejournal from the past and now insanejournal). In fact, I find that the microblog system is actually doing a better job at that these days. Partially it is because IJ is not as well used as LJ is.

Twitter also has kind of helped me open back up again. For months I had gotten into a big depression. I find when Im depressed I tend to avoid people for fear of accidentally snapping on them for no reason. Depression makes me not want to share anything about myself to anyone.

Climbing out of my depression, Im slowly (but surely) putting my stuff back onto the interweb. Twitter is also helping me open up slowly since Im only opening myself up with 140 character "tweets".

Well, glad that I popped this blog's cherry. Only wondering if the topic we spoke about in emails should go onto that bra related post (or possibly a 'follow-up' entry

Kat

PS: Now that you actually *have* comments enabled I htink your future entries will actually get a lot more play.

Glad that you discovered Twitter. As I said, Twitter seemed frivolous to me at first. Like "Why would someone care when I am doing a new animation or when I have to pop off for an errand?" However little snippets into someone's life keep people with the knowledge that Im approachable. I always prided myself on that personality trait.

What you wrote was fabulous. If you havent gotten a ticket to PlanetBoho, I can see about sending you an invite.

Kat

PS: If you have a way of coding your blog with Gravatar, it will help develop icons for commenters to your journal who also use Gravatar. Gcrush/Georgette did that for Bohocrush and Im starting to know people by their icons.

Glad that you discovered Twitter. As I said, Twitter seemed frivolous to me at first. Like “Why would someone care when I am doing a new animation or when I have to pop off for an errand?” However little snippets into someone’s life keep people with the knowledge that Im approachable. I always prided myself on that personality trait.

What you wrote was fabulous. If you havent gotten a ticket to PlanetBoho, I can see about sending you an invite.
